Turbidity Trending
Definition
Repeatedly tracking turbidity over time to detect changes in solids loading before deposits form.
It is the fastest way to catch rising solids loading early, since trends tell the story long before deposits become visible. In cooling towers, regular trending often beats occasional TSS lab measurements. It supports the attrition strategy by flagging when removal is falling behind intake.
