Field estimate of carbon dioxide generated in steam and condensate from feedwater alkalinity, used to budget neutralizing amine demand and acid feed. Not a universal stoichiometric law; actual generation depends on pressure, alkalinity form, cycles, steam purity, and operating conditions.
