The professional transition from selling chemical products to managing the physics that dictates outcomes.

Chemicals are tools (hammers and scalpels) used to manipulate conditions, but the laws of thermodynamics, equilibrium, kinetics, and biology decide the result. A chemical does not decide whether scale forms; the saturation index decides, and the chemical merely shifts the index. The shift changes how a person walks into a mechanical room, asking what entered, what left, and where the connection points are between symptom and cause. It moves the practitioner from following a procedure to troubleshooting, predicting, and diagnosing.
